Temporal Technologies is seeking a Director, Global Developer Success to lead and scale a deeply technical support organization that helps customers deploy, operate, debug, and scale Temporal across cloud-native environments and distributed systems.

You will hire and develop senior engineers, define SLAs, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales to ensure support signals translate into product and documentation improvements while maintaining customer trust in high-stakes situations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in technical support or customer engineering with leadership of teams.
• Experience building and scaling technical support operations for deeply technical B2B products.
• Strong ability to establish metrics, operating cadences, and escalation paths.
• Technical credibility with developers and engineers across cloud, infra, and distributed systems.
• Proven hiring, onboarding, and performance management for technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Global Developer Success teams across regions.
• Define SLAs/OLAs, ticket triage, queue ownership, and incident communications.
• Improve customer effort metrics and incident response quality.
• Lead escalation and incident discipline with clear roles and RCAs.
• Develop career paths, training, and certification for engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Docs to turn support signals into product improvements.
• Leverage tooling and AI to improve routing, summaries, and knowledge surfacing.
