Job summary

KBR is seeking a Director, Legal Operations & Finance to lead global legal operations, financial discipline, and technology enablement. This role partners with the General Counsel and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cost-effective, scalable delivery of legal services aligned with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience building, scaling, or transforming Legal Operations or comparable business operations functions.
• Ability to translate strategy into governance, processes, and capabilities.
• Strong collaboration with Finance, IT, Procurement, Compliance, and Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: set priorities and drive execution against departmental goals.
• Legal Financial Management & Analytics: budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and reporting.
• Outside Counsel & Vendor Management: manage billing, onboarding, guidelines, and relationships.
• E-Discovery & Legal Data Management: oversee global e-discovery lifecycle and data governance.
• Process Improvement & Operational Excellence: standardize processes and drive scalable improvements.
• Legal Technology & Digital Transformation: roadmap, implementation, and governance of legal tech.
• Leadership & Team Management: mentor and develop the legal ops team.
• Communications & Administration: support change management and create playbooks.
• Additional Responsibilities: lead or support cross-functional projects.
