Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced communications leader to head the Intelligence & Insights function within Communications & Public Affairs. This role leads a global, multidisciplinary team across North America, EMEA and APAC, shaping intelligence, research, messaging and insights to inform leadership decisions.

The Director will build tools and processes, embed AI into workflows, partner with senior executives, and manage a high‑volume portfolio across time zones while maintaining high-quality,

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, political campaigns, corporate strategy, research or related industries.
• 5+ years of experience directly managing teams, including managers or regional leads.
• Experience building and running complex, insights-driven teams or functions.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones.
• Demonstrated experience developing strategy or campaigns in the corporate, political or public affairs sector.
• Working knowledge of a range of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Experience deploying and experimenting with technology and tooling for media tracking, monitoring, measurement and analysis, including AI-based tools.
• Demonstrated experience influencing and advising senior executive stakeholders, and working effectively across functions without direct authority.
• Experience managing a high-volume portfolio of deliverables with competing priorities, including prioritization, intake management and stakeholder negotiation.
• Proven written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global team of regional leads and analysts across North America, EMEA and APAC.
• Own the strategic intelligence program for the Communications & Public Affairs organization.
• Direct the monitoring and reporting of coverage trends and narrative shifts across priority areas and major news cycles.
• Build new tools, systems and processes that advance reporting and intelligence reporting as a product.
• Embed AI into the team's workflows to accelerate production and expand coverage.
• Set the standard for responsible, well-reviewed use of AI outputs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and cross-functional partners.
• Manage intake, prioritization, and allocation of work across regions and time zones.
• Negotiate scope and timelines with senior stakeholders to protect quality and team sustainability.
• Establish team norms and operating cadences for high morale and retention in a global team.
