Job summary

Match Group seeks a Director of Indirect Tax to lead US sales and use tax, VAT, and DST compliance across its global affiliates. You will manage internal controls and collaborate with partners to ensure accurate reporting and strong governance.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of indirect tax experience, experience with Workday/Vertex/OneSource, and a BS in Accounting or Finance, with a track record of mentoring teams and driving AI-enabled tax initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of indirect tax experience, US & VAT.
• Experience with indirect tax systems and laws.
• BS in Accounting or Finance.
• Workday, Vertex, and OneSource experience preferred.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff.
• Strong research and audit-ready documentation.
• Interest in AI-bolstered tax solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage US sales and use tax, VAT, and DST for the company and affiliates, including compliance, research, and business support.
• Lead global indirect tax compliance and reporting with internal and external partners.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls around key indirect tax processes and systems.
• Drive operational excellence across core activities and provide insights through process efficiency and tech initiatives.
• Act as SME in supporting business initiatives from an indirect tax perspective.
• Monitor global indirect tax developments to ensure compliance with changing laws.
