Job summary

Albany International Corp. seeks a Director of Information Systems Compliance to lead the IT/IS compliance program with emphasis on SAP risk, controls, and SOX. The role partners with SAP Security, SAP Basis, and business teams to design controls, manage testing, and maintain audit readiness globally.

The position requires deep SAP/GRC expertise, extensive IT risk experience, and strong collaboration across functions to ensure compliant operations in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SAP IT/IS SOX compliance in a US public company.
• Strong understanding of GRC concepts and control testing.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and FI integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IT/IS compliance program, including governance, control design, metrics, reporting.
• Primary IT compliance interface with external audit partner and staff.
• Assess SAP and IT risks with accountability for control design and testing.
• Engage in control design, testing strategy, evidence review, and ongoing testing.
• Partner with SAP Security on access controls, role design, sensitive access, and segregation of duties.
• Own SAP GRC processes for Access Risk Analysis and Emergency Access Management, including evidence standards.
• Coordinate internal and external audits (SOX) and remediation validation.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis and Development on change governance to embed controls in delivery.
• Coordinate FI reporting system controls and integrations (MS BI a plus) and support SAP licensing and audit activities.
