Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. seeks a Director of Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) to lead the global EHS&S program across multiple sites. You will set strategy, governance, and metrics, mentor teams, and manage budget resources within a matrix organization.

You will be the primary contact for incident response, regulatory reporting, and risk management, ensuring compliance with FDA and industry standards across the company. Strong leadership and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in an environmental, health, safety, engineering, or scientific field with 15 years of related experience.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple programs/projects within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages EHS&S program activities and ensures EHS&S compliance
• Develops and implements changes to improve EHS&S performance
• Planning, reporting, metrics, administration activities
• Wastewater and Hazardous Waste programs
• Monitor the work of contracted EHS&S suppliers and service providers
