Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Device Technology Deployment Manager to lead the deployment of automated device assembly and packaging technologies. You will translate product and process requirements into scalable, compliant manufacturing solutions and provide technical leadership across our global network.

The role requires hands-on experience with automated equipment, strong knowledge of cGMP and ISO 13485, and collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Automation, Biomedical, Process or related).
• 7+ years in regulated medical device manufacturing environments.
• Experience with automated device assembly equipment and packaging technologies.
• Knowledge of cGMP, ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of automated device assembly and packaging technologies.
• Translate product and process requirements into robust equipment concepts and specs.
• Provide technical leadership for development and deployment of automated platforms.
• Drive initiatives to improve manufacturing robustness, efficiency, and automation.
• Evaluate new technologies through feasibility studies and pilots for scale-up.
• Lead equipment design reviews, qualification activities, and process validation.
• Ensure deliverables align with product/process requirements across sites.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams on technical documentation.
• Support global manufacturing technology standards and platform solutions.
