Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is offering a GDQ Internship with two positions in West Point, PA and Rahway, NJ. Interns will lead small projects and assist with critical tasks to advance the operating model and enable new technology implementations.

Candidates must be current science or engineering students, available for up to 12 weeks in spring/summer 2027, and capable of independent work with strong communication and teamwork skills. Hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be a current student pursuing a BS or MS degree in a science or engineering discipline.
• Available to work full-time for up to 12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June 2027.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative with deliverables.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills including flexibility, collaboration and inclusion; able to work in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of developing innovative solutions to challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop collaboration tools to improve communication and coordination.
• Develop data visualization tools and solutions.
• Document review and management, including technical editing.
• Project management, including meeting coordination and facilitation.
• Quality-focused support of clinical manufacturing operations.
