Job summary

The Phoenix Group Advisors is seeking a Desktop Engineering and Security Specialist for a leading global investment management firm. You will own the implementation, security, and support of desktop environments across a complex, multi-office setup.

You will manage imaging with SCCM/Intune, enforce GPOs, support VDI, and deploy Defender/CASB while automating tasks with PowerShell. This role requires 5+ years in financial IT and willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support within financial services.
• Experience with Windows desktops, Citrix VDI, and endpoint management.
• Familiar with security policies and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage device imaging, configuration, and deployment using SCCM and Intune.
• Support hardware and software troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Administer GPOs to enforce desktop security and compliance.
• Support VDI environments including Citrix XenApp and DaaS.
• Implement and manage security tools such as Defender, CASB, CIS Benchmarking.
• Automate tasks via PowerShell for system maintenance.
• Coordinate testing, patching, and updates.
• Assist with data migration, process testing, and system integrations.
• Provide advanced support for remote and global users.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
