Job summary

Stepan Company in Northbrook, IL is seeking a seasoned Senior Demand Planning Leader to drive the Demand Planning and S&OP cycle for North America.

You will build a 13-month forecast from qualitative and quantitative inputs, develop consensus with Sales and Commercial Leadership, and publish the forecast into the MRP system. You will lead the NA Demand Planning Team, own KPI metrics such as Forecast Accuracy, MAPE and Bias, and partner with Sales on financial projects and product launches.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) + years of experience in supply chain or business/industry.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and/or projects to implement new processes or capabilities.
• Proven experience in leading change initiatives.
• Strong analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, and execution skills.
• Experience with SAP ERP and Microsoft Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead Demand Planning S&OP cycle for North America.
• Build 13-month forecast from qualitative inputs from Sales and quantitative analysis.
• Develop consensus forecast with Sales and Commercial Leadership; publish forecast to MRP system.
• Manage NA Demand Planning Team, including supervision, training, and mentoring.
• Own KPI metrics such as Forecast Accuracy, MAPE, and Bias.
• Partner with Sales and Commercial on financial projects and product launches into the Supply Chain.
