Job summary

Danfoss Climate Solutions is seeking a Global Demand Planner to drive data-driven demand forecasts and align with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Supply Planning. You will transform market insights into robust plans that impact inventory, production, and service levels.

The role requires mid-senior level experience in demand planning, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel, ERP, and planning tools. On-site work across specified locations is expected.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience in demand planning, forecasting, S&OP, or a related supply chain discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working with Excel, ERP systems, planning tools, business intelligence platforms, or related technologies; knowledge of IBP is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of forecasting principles and demand drivers, combined with the ability to communicate insights, challenge assumptions, and influence stakeholders across functions.
  • A structured, proactive, and self-driven approach, combined with strong collaboration skills and professional English communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve demand forecasts for assigned products, markets, or business areas by combining data analysis with commercial and market insights.
  • Lead the monthly demand planning process and drive alignment with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Supply Planning, and other key stakeholders.
  • Analyze demand trends, forecast performance, and market developments to identify risks, opportunities, and actions that support better business decisions.
  • Translate customer developments, product launches, phase-outs, and other business changes into accurate and actionable demand plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Planning to align demand and supply while supporting inventory, service, and operational targets.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of demand planning processes, tools, automation, and digital capabilities to strengthen forecasting effectiveness.
