Job summary

ResMed is seeking a Director of Global Integrated Demand Planning to connect regional demand planning and deliver an enterprise view for informed decisions. You will influence across functions, shape governance, and drive the global planning program to improve alignment and execution.

You will lead across regions, product launches and lifecycle decisions, partnering with Commercial, Finance and Product to ensure demand plans translate into business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across demand planning, IBP/S&OP, S&OE or broader end-to-end supply chain planning.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting and demand-to-supply integration.
• Experience working across multiple regions, markets or business units in a matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes without formal authority.
• Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and decisions.
• Experience improving planning processes, operating models or organizational capability.
• Experience with advanced planning platforms such as o9, Oracle or similar.
• Strong communication, facilitation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices or complex manufacturing environments is advantageous.

As Director, Global Integrated Demand Planning, you will play a pivotal role in connecting Resmed’s regional demand planning organizations and strengthening how we plan as one global business.

This is a highly visible global leadership role responsible for creating an integrated enterprise view of demand, strengthening global planning governance and translating complex demand signals into meaningful business insights and decisions.

Working closely with Regional Planning Directors and leaders across Supply Planning, Commercial, Finance, Product and Operations, you will connect regional perspectives, identify enterprise risks and opportunities, and strengthen demand-to-supply integration.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Integrated Supply Chain Planning, you will operate through influence in a highly matrixed global environment.

Regional Planning Directors retain accountability for regional planning performance, teams and execution, while you connect these perspectives to strengthen enterprise alignment and global planning effectiveness.

What You'll Do

Connect global demand and enable enterprise decisions

• Consolidate regional demand plans into a clear enterprise view of demand, assumptions, risks and opportunities.
• Identify material cross-regional changes, dependencies and trade-offs requiring enterprise visibility or decisions.
• Translate complex planning information into executive-ready insights, scenarios and decision points.
• Strengthen transparency of constrained and unconstrained demand and its implications for supply, capacity, inventory and business performance.

Strengthen global planning governance

• Shape and steward global demand planning standards, governance, processes and operating rhythms in partnership with Regional Planning Directors.
• Strengthen accountability for key planning assumptions, decisions, actions and outcomes.
• Establish consistent approaches to demand planning performance and KPIs while recognising relevant regional differences.
• Drive continuous improvement and sharing of leading practices across the global planning community.

Connect demand, supply and business priorities

• Lead global demand-to-supply integration, partnering with Supply Planning to identify constraints, risks and opportunities requiring cross-functional decisions.
• Partner with Commercial, Finance and Product to strengthen alignment between market assumptions, demand plans and business outlooks.
• Provide global integration and visibility for major product launches, transitions and lifecycle decisions.
• Bring together stakeholders to navigate cross-regional issues and facilitate timely escalation where enterprise decisions are required.

Shape the future of integrated planning

• Partner with Regional Planning Directors and Planning Excellence to strengthen planning maturity and capability.
• Champion effective use of planning technology, analytics and advanced forecasting to improve planning and decision-making.
• Translate transformation outcomes into sustainable global processes, governance and ways of working.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve how planning operates across ResMed.

Scope & impact

This role sits at the intersection of our regional planning organizations and the broader enterprise.

You will shape the global demand planning operating model, create the enterprise demand perspective and connect regional and functional leaders around the decisions that matter most.

You will work through influence rather than direct regional authority. Regional Planning Directors remain accountable for their regional demand plans, stakeholder relationships, people leadership and execution, while you enable global integration, enterprise visibility and stronger end-to-end decision-making.

Success will be reflected in better connected planning, greater transparency of assumptions and risks, stronger demand-to-supply integration and faster, better-informed enterprise decisions.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $187,000 - $281,000 with a 20% annual bonus
