Job summary
Sigma Defense Systems LLC in Alexandria, VA, seeks a Mid-level International Agreements Specialist for the DoD Mark Center. You will plan, negotiate, review, and staff international agreements supporting RDT&E, acquisition, technology cooperation, and security cooperation initiatives.
Requires 5+ years in international agreements or defense cooperation, US citizenship, and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Law, Political Science, or related field
- Master's degree preferred; direct operational experience may substitute
- 5+ years in international agreements or defense cooperation
- Experience drafting and reviewing technical and legal documents
- U.S. citizen required; ability to obtain TS clearance and SCI familiarity
- Knowledge of ITAR/EAR and export controls
Responsibilities
- Reduce agreement processing timelines and improve quality
- Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
- Develop, negotiate, review, staff, coordinate, implement, and amend international agreements
- Staff key bilateral and multilateral defense agreements (RDT&E, TF, TA, information exchange)
- Draft precise language, reconcile comments, and finalize signature packages
- Maintain milestone tracking and agreement status reporting
