OpenAI is seeking a Dedicated Support Engineering Lead to define and scale a global DSE function in a hybrid SF office. You will shape strategy, hire and coach talent, and drive proactive, high-quality support for our largest enterprise customers running complex workloads.

In this role you’ll set the charter, design engagement models, own incident response, and partner with product and engineering to improve reliability and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, including leadership in enterprise support.
• Experience building/scaling a dedicated technical customer program with service model ownership.
• Strong technical foundation in APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy for Dedicated Support Engineering, defining charter, service model, priorities, and growth.
• Build and develop a high-performing global organization with senior technical talent.
• Design the customer engagement model and define responsibilities across teams.
