Job summary

Alteryx seeks a Senior Director, Global Deal Desk & Commercial Strategy to lead the global deal desk governance, scale operations, and oversee quote-to-order processes across regions.

Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, this role builds and mentors a distributed team and partners with Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, and Revenue Operations to structure complex enterprise transactions in line with GAAP and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Revenue Accounting, Commercial Operations, or related functions within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
• 5+ years of experience leading global teams, including managing managers and senior-level leaders.
• Strong expertise in SaaS business models, enterprise deal structuring, and quote-to-order operations.
• Strong conceptual understanding of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and revenue recognition implications of commercial contracts.
• Proven experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Compensation 230,000-270,000 plus bonus & equity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Deal Desk organization and overall quote-to-order governance across regions.
• Build, develop, and manage a high-performing global team including Directors and regional leaders.
• Establish scalable structures, operating models, and processes to support rapid growth.
• Provide guidance on risk, revenue recognition, and contract terms under GAAP ASC 606.
• Drive process standardization and collaboration with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product.
