Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Security Architect to lead the global data-security program across our enterprise. You will design, implement, and continuously improve data security controls, guiding regions, IT, and business units.

The role combines strategic architecture with hands-on technical work to protect Crown data in on-prem and cloud environments. Collaborate with Legal, HR, and Regional IT to ensure controls meet regulatory obligations and business needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in information security, security engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years designing and/or managing enterprise Data Loss Prevention and data-security capabilities.
• Experience implementing DLP across endpoints, email, web, cloud storage, and collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of data discovery, classification, labeling, encryption, and secure data sharing.
• Ability to reduce data-security risk by remediation of misconfigurations and data-sharing practices.
• Experience maintaining security standards and patterns in a large corporate environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365/cloud technologies (Entra ID, Azure, SharePoint).
• Architect or lead on complex multi-country projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a global data-security roadmap and policies.
• Lead implementation of data-security solutions with robust documentation.
• Identify data-security gaps and coordinate remediation with minimal disruption.
• Integrate data-security with monitoring, incident response, IAM, and cloud security.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to security teams.
