Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead procurement for AWS data centers, coordinating with networking, design engineering and data center delivery to translate project requirements into material needs and ensure on-time delivery for customers.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement/supply chain, strong data analysis capabilities (Excel/SQL/Tableau/Python), and experience with global supplier management within a fast-paced electronics environment.

Qualifications

5+ years in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations.
5+ years in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operating and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Manage day to day operational processes for cable ordering.
Coordinate with supply chain, operations, engineering and suppliers to drive supply profiles and ensure on-time material availability.
Analyze business and technology trends to identify process improvements, reduce costs and mitigate risks for AWS and customers.
Manage material inventories for AWS data centers.
Evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
Lead cross-functional meetings with clear documentation and action follow-up.
Serve as escalation point for teams to remediate supplier/material risks.
