Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead construction and infrastructure projects within AWS data centers.

You will coordinate electrical, mechanical, and building systems, drive schedules, manage vendors, and ensure safety and cost controls. The role requires 3+ years in data centers or critical infrastructure, on-site trade experience, and a track record of delivering complex projects in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction or project management experience.
• 3+ years in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure (24/7 emergency backup systems, manufacturing, Mass Transportation, Oil & Gas, Utility, Hospitals or similar).
• 3+ years in on-site construction trades (mechanical, electrical, general) Vendor Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution and completion of specific projects within AWS data centers.
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines; identify areas for improvement.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
