Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a Data Center Server Operations Manager to lead a team of Data Center Technicians in Henderson, NV.

You will oversee installation, testing and maintenance of server hardware and related components, and coordinate complex installations and troubleshooting across global data center operations. Qualifications

5 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
2 years of experience managing technical teams, vendor or contract management and delivery.
Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day management of teams within data center operations.
Communicate priorities and facilitate hand off of operations to following shift leads.
Work together to identify and resolve problems and create solutions for our global computing and network architecture.
Manage the implementation of projects within the team. Hire, coach and develop a team while achieving strategic business goals.
Ensure data center-related priorities are consistent with company objectives.
