Job summary

Google’s Facilities Management team oversees the daily operations of our offices, ensuring spaces run smoothly and efficiently. You will lead a dedicated team, handle project execution, and coordinate with partners to meet performance standards and safety requirements.

The role involves installing and configuring hardware and server software, including complex network components, while contributing to the design and lifecycle of our data centers and computing infrastructure at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
• 5 years of experience managing technical, vendor, contract management, or delivery teams.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of individuals; set and communicate goals and develop talent.
• Partner with teams to manage facility activities and set long-term strategies.
• Maintain security and operational procedures and analyze trends for improvements.
• Repair, fix, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and infrastructure.
• Support Environmental Health and Safety compliance programs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
