Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design, construction, and operation of our global data center facilities.

You will develop HVAC, plumbing, and hydronic systems and coordinate with utilities, fire officials, and internal teams to ensure safety and reliability. You will review designs for code compliance, contribute to design standards, and travel up to 25% to support projects worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in design engineering or construction, mechanical systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive and oversee mechanical design, construction, operations and maintenance for data center facilities.
• Prepare detailed designs for HVAC, plumbing, and hydronic systems.
• Coordinate with utilities, AHJs, and internal/external teams to meet code requirements and design standards.
• Review designs for code compliance and align with company standards.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
