Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA, is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to drive global data center inventory and power topology initiatives within AWS Infrastructure.

You will organize cross-functional teams, define requirements, and own end-to-end program execution to improve capacity and reliability. In this role, you’ll develop scalable, data-driven processes, manage multiple projects, and report progress to stakeholders while shaping the future of the AWS data

Qualifications

• Experience managing global infrastructure projects/programs.
• Develop and implement change management plans.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to define requirements and processes.
• Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and/or project deliverables, and negotiate any needed trade-offs.
• Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
• End to end responsibility for the program's execution and success.
• Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
• Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
• Ensure consistency in deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow up.
• Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
• Assist in daily operational tasks as part of the overall Data Center Delivery workflow.
