Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Field Engineering Technical Program Manager for the Data Center Engineering team. You will lead multi-discipline and highly technical teams, manage complex projects across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Legal and Finance, and drive program visibility and reporting on a global scale.

You will own risk management, KPIs, and process improvements to optimize data center capacity, availability and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• 3+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities such as data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities is required.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical and business components of availability solutions to drive alignment and implementation plans across multiple teams.
• Develop standards and processes for tracking, reporting, and closure of risks.
• Prepare narratives for executive leadership with cost, timing, and strategic trade-offs.
