Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for Data Center Construction to drive strategic sourcing and supplier management across global infrastructure projects.

You will develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for data center construction, manage RFPs with GC, subcontractors and suppliers, and negotiate contracts to optimize cost, risk, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of related industry experience in procurement and sourcing.
• Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (RFX, etc.).
• Experience negotiating with global suppliers and achieving cost reductions.
• 5+ years of data analysis using Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL or Tableau.
• 5+ years of experience with construction services and material procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for construction services.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and competitive landscapes.
• Manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for Data Center Construction scopes with GC, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to drive efficiency and performance.
• Create robust metrics and accountability mechanisms for supplier performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
