Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Dangerous Goods (DG) with strong regulatory, operations, and logistics experience. You will work across procurement, transportation services, and many internal teams to ensure safe, compliant DG handling across a global supply chain. Travel ~25% is expected.

You will plan and execute DG policies, develop metric-driven analysis, and drive continuous improvement to elevate safety and customer experience across deliveries and reverse logistics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience in verbal and written communication for executive level leaders.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement projects across global teams ensuring safety and compliance.
• Manage a portfolio of projects to build a best-in-class Dangerous Goods transportation system.
• Break down large projects into manageable pieces and deliver iterative improvements.
• Build relationships with leaders across regions and business units.
• Refine program processes to track and prioritize issues and scale work.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and balance business needs with constraints.
