Job summary

ISMG is seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our team and coordinate, promote, and execute our global portfolio of Executive Roundtables. You will own 4-8+ events per month, manage sponsor relations, and drive attendance recruitment to meet registration goals and client satisfaction.

You´ll engage with senior cybersecurity executives worldwide, facilitating peer leadership discussions on current cybersecurity challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Events, Public Relations, Communications, or other related fields.
• 3-5+ years of professional work experience in event management and audience development, attendee recruitment, and/or delegate sales.
• Experience supporting B2B industry events with cybersecurity and/or information technology exposure is a plus.
• Experience managing client projects and expectations with an emphasis on event performance.
• Virtual event experience using Zoom, GoToMeeting, BlueJeans, WebEx, etc.
• Experience with Marketo is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced media environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, coordination, and promotion of ISMG global events according to sponsor requirements, target audiences, and objectives.
• Maintain communication with sponsors as main point of contact throughout the event lifecycle.
• Satisfy registration/attendance targets via Marketo and delegate acquisition efforts.
• Expand database of global prospect contacts and nurture relationships with industry executives.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials and deliverables are completed and approved by sponsors.
• Engage in post-event feedback collection and gauge interest in future events.
• Analyze event results to identify metrics for improvement.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to optimize department.
