Job summary

CFC in the United States is seeking an experienced claims professional to support its expanding US Admitted Claims offering and strengthen the global claims team, with a focus on cyber claims. You will work with the Global Claims and Incident Response teams, along with forensic, legal and PR vendors, to ensure a cost-effective, high-quality response to insureds.

Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience handling insurance claims; cyber claims desirable.
• Experience with multi-party claims and external advisers.
• Understanding of regulatory claims requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle a cross-section of cyber claims from first notification of loss to settlement.
• Foster relationships with policyholders and brokers to ensure excellent service.
• Coordinate with a panel of vendors (forensic, legal, PR) during incidents.
• Ensure prompt and accurate reserving and pursue recoveries to reduce leakage.
• Prioritise deadlines such as lawsuits, demand letters and queries.
• Work with service providers to ensure value-for-money service within timeframes.
• Perform general claims administration and management information production.
• Collaborate with underwriters and product teams on trends and wordings.
• Escalate claims-related issues to the line manager when necessary.
