Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL is seeking a Customs Compliance Officer to join our Global Trade Compliance team. You will manage customs programs, ensure compliant importation, and support regulatory requirements for multiple business units.

Responsibilities include HTSUS classification, IOR coordination with CBP and PGAs, ATA Carnet coordination, data accuracy checks, and stakeholder training. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in import/export compliance.
• Knowledge of US regulations: ITAR, EAR, FTR, FDA, FCC, HTSUS.
• Experience with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Customs Trade Compliance Program.
• Classify HTSUS for products.
• Coordinate import transactions as IOR with CBP and PGAs.
• Coordinate ATA Carnets with stakeholders.
• Verify import data accuracy and FTAs.
• Train stakeholders on TCLRs.
• Support audits and corrective actions.
