Job summary

FedEx Logistics seeks a detail-oriented coordinator to manage documentation for US customs and provide impeccable customer service. The role involves obtaining correct classifications for customs releases, data entry across multiple systems, and maintaining compliant shipment records.

You may handle remote filings and must adhere to all regulations. Ideal candidates have at least a HS diploma, 6 months of experience, and strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; no industry experience needed.
• Minimum 6 months work experience preferred.
• Data entry and MS Office proficiency required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work with multiple systems and reference material.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation required by US Customs for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Determine correct goods classification for customs release using databases and tariffs.
• Enter data and process import documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain up-to-date shipment records in compliance with record keeping.
• Adhere to import/export regulations.
• Collaborate with internal staff, carriers, brokers, and government agencies.
• Process agency shipments and may handle remote filings.
• Ensure policies are followed; perform other duties as assigned.
• Paid training provided.
