Job summary

RTX Corporate in Richardson, TX is seeking an Export Advisor Team Lead focused on Customs compliance within Enterprise Services. You will guide the team to deliver compliant export declarations and coordinate with Global Trade, Shipping, and Customs Brokers.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
• Experience handling transitional audits and traditional customs audit frameworks
• Experience with U.S. Customs regulations and domestic/international import/export requirements
• Experience with ITCS, RGEMS (preferred)
• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) and/or Certified Export Specialist (CES) certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on export regulatory requirements and Customs compliance to help the team navigate complex processes
• Serve as a key point of contact for team questions and assistance with resolving export issues and compliance concerns
• Collaborate with Export Operations Manager to align team efforts with organizational priorities
• Facilitate coordination between Export Advisor team and cross-functional partners including Global Trade, Shipping, Receiving, International Logistics, Customs Brokers, and Freight Forwarders
• Assist in reviewing and validating shipment data such as valuation, country of origin, and product classifications for accuracy
• Help monitor team performance and identify opportunities to improve export declaration workflows through process enhancements and tool updates
• Support customer engagements by maintaining clear communication and thorough documentation
• Promote a culture of compliance, quality, and continuous improvement
