Job summary

Panasonic Corporation of North America is seeking a Customs Compliance Lead to ensure COO and related customs compliance across its business units. The role includes audits, post-entry activities, and KPI-based reporting, with potential direct reports and cross-functional support from PEXNA Logistics.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in customs and international trade, a BA/BS in a related field, and knowledge of CBP compliance best practices. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain, Logistics or related area.
• 5+ years of customs and international trade experience.
• Current customs broker license or CCS is desired but not required.
• Lean Continuous Improvement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure COO and related customs compliance activities comply with policies, procedures and government regulations.
• Develop and deliver audit and post-entry activities and coordinate with Logistics.
• Manage KPIs/metrics related to department compliance, accuracy, productivity, and efficiency.
• Support training on COO determination for business units and factories.
• Monitor tariff/duty programs changes and assess impacts to mitigate.
