Job summary

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Clinical Supply Planning and Operations (CSO) to lead all CSO activities for oncology and specialty medicines globally, from early development through launch and life cycle management.

Based in the US, the role reports to the Head of SCM, overseeing CSO functions across DST, DSE, and DSI; responsible for vendor governance and collaboration with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and external partners to drive the 2030 vision.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in biotech/pharma, with 12+ years in Clinical Supply Operations.
• Experience in oncology project development and cold chain management.
• Strong cross-functional leadership in a matrix organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead Global CSO strategy aligned with the global, strategic vision.
• Ensure stable CTM supply and management of comparators.
• Direct CSO functions across DSI, DST and DSE; coordinate global projects.
• Oversee vendor governance for CSO activities including IRT, labeling, distribution and storage.
• Manage Global CSO/DSI-CSO budgeting, forecasting and cost control; report to Head of SCM.
• Collaborate with executives across R&D, Oncology BU, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain and external partners.
