Zusammenfassung

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Public Health Officer to join our fleet and uphold high standards of health, safety, and guest experience aboard ships worldwide. You will implement infection control measures, supervise PPE use, coordinate outbreak responses, and collaborate with shipboard and shoreside teams to maintain compliance with health policies.

The role requires a Public Health background, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced cruise environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, biological sciences, or closely related field preferred.
• Verbal and written fluency in English, both conversational and technical.
• Two years of shipboard experience or three years of shoreside experience in implementing or auditing public health programs.

Aufgaben

• Implement and ensure compliance of shipboard prevention and control activities across response levels.
• Oversee storage and use of PPE, disinfectants, and supplies; assist with illness investigations and contact tracing.
• Coordinate drills for Outbreak Prevention and Response Plan; report illness status to leadership.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of facilities and equipment; prioritize repair and refit planning.
• Review food safety, Potable Water, Recreational Water Facilities, and air handling systems for compliance.
• Oversee Integrated Pest Management and assist pest control activities.
