Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Credit Risk Management (CRM) invites an Associate to join the Global Credit Reporting team in New York. You will deliver in-depth credit portfolio analysis and risk reporting to support timely decision making by senior leaders, including the Chief Risk Officer.

You will develop end-to-end reports, optimize SQL queries, and collaborate with Data Control and IT squads to enhance data quality and risk visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, or engineering with 3+ years of work experience in an investment bank, commercial bank or consulting firm
• Understanding of Credit/Market Risk concepts, lending and/or traded products (e.g. derivatives)
• Experience with business intelligence software (Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, etc.)
• Sufficient knowledge of programming languages such as Python

Responsibilities

• Support the analysis of material variances in the Credit portfolio and prepare clear summaries for internal discussions
• Prepare Credit Portfolio review materials with accuracy and timeliness
• Assist with ad-hoc requests for point-in-time and trend analyses of the credit portfolio
• Participate in end-to-end report development lifecycle from ideation to automation
• Escalate data issues to Data Control and Credit Risk IT squads and contribute to remediation
• Collaborate with Data Control, IT squads, Credit Coverage and BUs to onboard new data
