Job summary

The Carlyle Group in New York, NY is seeking a Manager to join the Credit Opportunities Fund Management team. The role focuses on assisting in accounting, reporting, and monitoring for private credit funds, requiring strong finance knowledge and the ability to collaborate with investment professionals and operations staff.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in private credit or public accounting, CPA preferred, and a proven track record in fund structures.

Qualifications

• Concentration in Accounting and/or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in private credit or public accounting with supervisory experience.
• Experience in alternatives and fund accounting/GP/LP structures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly closes with Third-Party Administrator data.
• Review cash and position reconciliations.
• Review accrued carry calculations and capital statements.
• Monitor capital calls, distributions, and waterfall analyses.
• Coordinate audits and respond to investor questions.
• Collaborate with Legal, Investment, and IR on fees and LP side letters.
