Job summary

Modine, a global leader in thermal management headquartered in Racine, Wisconsin, is seeking a Regional Senior Procurement Buyer. You will oversee plant procurement across regional Data Center plants, partnering with Global Commodity Managers and engineering to drive cost reductions, improve quality, and optimize delivery.

Responsibilities include contract negotiations, ERP data stewardship, supplier performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing implementation for new product programs and other sourcing plans.
• Support supplier negotiations (price, schedules, and terms and conditions).
• Lead voice of the plants’ feedback and data collection with Global Commodity Managers.
• Lead sourcing activities not handled by Global Commodity team.
• Support negotiation of contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive performance in cost, quality, delivery, and service.
• Identify, evaluate and execute cost reduction plans with stakeholders.
• Monitor vendor and internal scorecards and improve Procurement KPIs.
• Lead ERP data activities, including pricing and data points for proper costs.
• Resolve supplier issues to mitigate supplier risk.
• Analyze spending data and lead improvement initiatives.
• Assist with integrating new acquisitions as requested.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
