Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a high-visibility Cost Champion to influence engineering, sourcing, and operations on material cost reduction initiatives. You will drive VAVE programs, assess design-for-cost opportunities, and deliver a pipeline of cost-saving projects across multiple business units.

The role requires 3+ years (Bachelor’s) or 7+ years (Associate’s) in material productivity, with experience in VAVE and a willingness to travel up to 25% globally.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor's with experience in material productivity.
• 2+ years with Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) or cost savings initiatives.
• Up to 25% travel to global sites to lead cost reduction events.

Responsibilities

• Champion and lead VAVE activities and global cost reduction initiatives across Carrier's units.
• Plan, lead and facilitate the execution of VAVE cost events with cross-functional teams.
• Provide subject-matter expertise in product design for value and cost; evaluate cost-out opportunities.
• Develop a project pipeline process of vetted, ready-to-implement cost-savings opportunities.
