Job summary

Ada Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Associate, Cost Management (Global) to own the cost dimension of project controls for North America-based projects and global coordination. You will oversee underwriting inputs, CAPEX updates, estimating, budgeting, forecasting, contingency management, and change governance across regions.

You will support Ada’s global cost management frameworks, ensure consistent data, and contribute to the Cost Management Center of Excellence with best practices,

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive cost management or commercial management experience.
• Experience with estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls across multiple projects.
• Strong CAPEX cost planning and contingency management understanding.
• Procore cost modules and ERP exposure (Yardi, Yardi Construction Manager).
• Experience with cost inputs, underwriting and sensitivities in business case models.
• Ability to manage cost consultants and senior services firms and drive quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and maintain top-down cost targets and benchmarking by market/archetype.
• Provide estimating support to optimize design standards and cost variance drivers.
• Drive consistent cost management across projects: estimating, budgeting, forecasting, contingency, and reporting.
• Maintain cost evolution from underwriting through delivery with budget bridges and variance narratives.
• Collaborate with BI to ensure data definitions, quality, and cadence of reporting.
• Create KPI views and executive-ready summaries highlighting risks and actions.
• Support NA Delivery with budget governance across WBS items and vendors.
• Validate inflation and regional market assumptions affecting CAPEX; communicate impacts.
• Support multiple teams with underwriting inputs, sensitivities, and updates through phases.
• Coordinate with regional teams to visualize variance and budget data presentations.
• Oversee outputs from third-party cost consultants and ensure reporting standards.
• Capture lessons learned and develop standard templates and playbooks for cost management.
