Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Tax Partner to join our Corporate Tax practice in the United States. You will lead client service, growth, and leadership responsibilities for the Tax line of business, guiding complex engagements for multinational clients while delivering tax strategy and compliance services.

As a trusted advisor, you will develop teams, manage profitability, and drive cross-functional collaboration to meet clients' strategic objectives. A CPA and 12+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited university.
• Active CPA license in the state of residence or primary office.
• 12+ years of Tax experience in public accounting, with the ability to effectively identify, sell and deliver tax services to middle-market clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong client service, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior tax client service leader for complex client needs and firm priorities.
• Lead teams in delivering tax services across capabilities and geographies.
• Manage multiple engagements, monitor resources and client expectations.
• Identify technical tax matters and opportunities and guide teams accordingly.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships to understand goals and needs.
• Support growth through pipeline development and market-facing activity.
• Ensure profitability, billing, and engagement economics align with firm expectations.
• Apply rigorous quality, risk, and ethics standards in all activities.
• Use digital tools and standardized processes to improve efficiency and client experience.
• Coach and develop high-performing teams and future leaders.
• Lead with an enterprise mindset aligning decisions to firm value.
