Avanci, a leader in global patent licensing, seeks a Corporate Tax Manager in Dallas to lead federal, state, local and international tax compliance, planning, and risk management. You will prepare and review complex returns, oversee tax provisions, and partner with executives to optimize tax operations.

The role requires 7–10 years of tax experience, CPA preferred, and a strong grasp of ASC 740, transfer pricing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• CPA preferred and Master's degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive federal tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review complex federal, state, local, and international tax returns.
• Oversee tax provisions and ASC 740 in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage external tax firms and advisors; coordinate deadlines and quality.
• Partner with executives and cross-functional leaders to improve tax operations.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and advise on actions.
• Manage tax audits and inquiries from authorities.
• Oversee intercompany transfer pricing documentation.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, restructurings with tax implications.
• Develop and maintain tax policies, controls and documentation.
• Evaluate and implement tax software and technology improvements.
• Communicate with leadership and manage expectations.
