Charles, MO or Aurora, MO, you will drive projects from concept through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and cost goals are met. You will mentor by applying project-management practices, reviews, and engineering expertise to support manufacturing, technology, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years experience in electrical engineering, controls, automation, or capital projects.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, networks, instrumentation, drives, and control panels.
• Experience with equipment integration, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with project scopes, estimates, schedules, procurement, and closeout materials.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage costs, evaluate alternatives, and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls projects from concept through completion.
• Manage electrical, controls, and automation projects < $500,000, from planning to closeout.
• Maintain scopes, budgets, schedules, action items, risks, and status reports.
• Coordinate electrical/controls requirements with vendors, contractors, and customers.
• Perform FATs and ensure corrective actions before equipment goes into service.
• Develop specifications, I/O, network requirements, bid packages, and procurement docs.
• Ensure compliance with AFB standards and safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
