First Solar is seeking an entry-level corporate controls engineer to assist with global implementation of electrical control systems, PLC/HMI programming, and start-ups. The role supports manufacturing facilities worldwide and requires collaboration with internal teams and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in controls engineering, and a degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–5 years in manufacturing equipment controls engineering with global scope.

Responsabilidades

• Provide global support for manufacturing facilities and controls systems.
• Assist with new equipment installation and implementation across regions.
• Maintain and update electrical drawings and document equipment changes.
• Design, program, and commission small control systems project work.
• Troubleshoot and resolve controls-related issues across sites.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and external suppliers to ensure standards.
