Job summary

ZF Group in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for Global Controlling to support Global Engineering and SGA Finance in month-end close, mid-month forecast, and OP/SP processes across regions within the ADAS & HPC space.

The role emphasizes analyzing variances for global consolidation, developing systematic variance control, leading global reporting with standard templates, and collaborating with engineering and stakeholders on project costs and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in finance / controlling
• Experience in interdisciplinary project work
• Excellent communication in an international environment
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
• ERP experience with SAP (OR9 and ZP1)

Responsibilities

• Analyze variances to walk deviations for global consolidation including Sales, Costs, Capital expenditures, Headcount, and NPM tracking.
• Overseeing implementation of the actual reporting including deviation analyses and, if necessary, determination of measures to achieve goals together with the relevant departmental function manager
• Developing systematic approach for variance controlling with special focus on intercompany charges and engineering recovery
• Leading global reporting streamline process with standard templates and possible digital solutions including identify solutions for system issues.
• Collaborating with engineering and global domain function stakeholders for project cost management.
• Implementing for compliance with global instruction and policies.
• Monitoring the development of costs and following up on the agreed measures, ensure proper measure tracking and reporting
• Being able to utilize ZF reporting tools to provide detailed analysis to management team and respond to tasks
• Supporting meeting organization and presentation as well as Ad-Hoc reporting request from the management team.
