Job summary

American Orthodontics Corp is seeking an experienced finance leader to direct the accounting and finance team for a global business. You will oversee US and international accounting, treasury, IT integration with finance, and the month-end close within a five-business-day target.

Responsibilities include leading AR/AP, cost accounting, GL, and implementing best practices across the organization. The role requires a CPA, a strong background in GAAP and IFRS, and hands-on leadership of multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting and 10+ years or more of experience with 5 years supervisory experience
• CPA required
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS reporting rules
• Knowledge of MS-D365, Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Oversee Domestic Accounting Manager and team of 7 across AR, AP, cost accounting and GL
• Ensure US balance sheet is properly stated and reconciled
• Perform P&L variance analysis
• Oversee cost accounting, including costing, LIFO, R&D tax credit, inventory control, and COGS reporting
• Oversee international accounting for foreign subsidiaries, GAAP/IFRS compliance
• Manage IT requirements for finance group including annual updates
• Oversee banking relationships and cash management
• Maintain internal controls and develop process improvements
• Supervise staff and conduct performance reviews
