Job summary

Centific seeks an experienced accounting leader to own global close, reporting, and controllership. You will serve as the de facto Controller, guiding accounting policies, intercompany, and systems modernization across multi-entity operations.

Required: CPA, 10+ years in accounting, large-firm and in-house tech experience, and proven audit readiness. Hybrid on-site in SF Bay Area or Redmond with cross-time-zone coordination.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license, in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Own the global month-, quarter-, and year-end close across all entities, driving cycle-time reduction while maintaining accuracy.
• Own consolidated financial statements, intercompany accounting, foreign currency translation, and reporting packages for CFO, executive team, board, and investors.
• Own general ledger, chart of accounts, ERP processes, and automation of manual work.
• Lead accounting operations including revenue, AR, AP, payroll, equity, leases, fixed assets, and treasury accounting.
• Serve as internal authority on U.S. GAAP (ASC 606, 842, 718, 805, ASC 350-40) and maintain global accounting policy.
