Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC seeks a Global Controller - Associate to deliver technical accounting expertise on hedge transactions within the Treasury/Chief Investment Office. You will partner with front office, regional finance, and accounting policy teams to ensure accurate, policy-compliant reporting on complex transactions on a global scale.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, 3 years in public accounting with financial services, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related area required.
• 3 years of public accounting experience in financial services.
• Knowledge and experience in financial instruments.
• Proactive individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player with leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business partners to offer technical accounting expertise on complex, non-routine, and hedge transactions.
• Report to the direct manager located in London, coordinate discussions with different functions globally.
• Partner with product controllers to assess the operational impact of existing and new transactions, ensuring policy compliance.
• Coordinate implementation of accounting standards.
• Review quarterly financial statements and disclosures.
• Work with accounting policy team on practical application of new and proposed accounting and reporting standards.
