Job summary

Saviynt is seeking a Controller to steer global accounting operations and financial reporting. You will guide a multi-country team, ensure accuracy, and enforce best practices across 14 subsidiaries.

You will drive process improvements using ERP and AI tools, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality financial insights for executives and investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required or equivalent.
• CPA or CMA certification required.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting leadership in tech/SaaS.
• US East Coast or Central time zone preferred for collaboration.

What will you be doing

• Oversee and manage the company's global accounting operations and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices
• Direct an international team of approximately 15 finance professionals—primarily based in India—and manage complex multi-entity statutory requirements across 14 global subsidiaries
• Drive improvements in financial processes, leveraging software and AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency and insight
• Ensure all financial transactions and reporting meet rigorous government regulations and compliance along with board, bank, and investor reporting standards
• Collaborate with various internal teams to gather financial data and support operational objectives
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy, continuous improvement, and professional development
• Implement and refine accounting policies and procedures to support company growth and operational scalability

What you bring

• Deep understanding of US GAAP.
  Proficiency in ERP systems, NetSuite preferred
• Strong background in managing day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, T&E, leases, commissions, corporate card, expense policy management, month-end close, general ledger management, etc
• Proven track record in multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction financial consolidations and local statutory reporting for global subsidiaries with strong grasp of regulatory compliance requirements for financial reporting
• Familiarity with modern accounting technologies and workflow automation (e.g., FloQast, Concur, Tipalti)
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting complex financial data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends and discrepancies
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Active CPA or CMA certification required.
• Big 4 public accounting experience required.
• Proven experience in a senior accounting leadership role within a growing technology or SaaS company.
• Preferred location: US East Coast or Central time zone (for optimal daily collaboration with our India-based team).
