Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Director of Corporate Accounting and Consolidations to lead global consolidation and close processes. The role oversees integrity of consolidated financial statements and supports acquisitions, finance transformation, and continuous improvement of consolidation activities.

Responsibilities include governance of the close, OneStream governance, and cross‑functional collaboration with Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA credential required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting, reporting, and consolidation experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting or finance organizations.
• Significant experience overseeing global consolidations.
• Hands-on experience with OneStream or other leading EPM platform.
• Experience supporting multinational organizations and their consolidation process.
• Public accounting background preferred.
• Experience with acquisitions, ASC 805 guidance, and merger integrations preferred.
• Expert knowledge of ASC 810 Consolidation, ASC 830 Foreign Currency Matters.

Responsibilities

• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual global consolidation processes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements and schedules.
• Oversee ownership structures, legal entity hierarchies, and intercompany eliminations in OneStream.
• Manage foreign currency translation and multi-entity reporting processes.
• Lead accounting close governance and coordinate activities across finance teams.
• Establish close performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with reporting and operations teams to support reporting requirements.
• Review consolidation schedules and disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and reporting standards.
• Support technical accounting analyses affecting consolidation conclusions.
• Ensure internal controls over consolidation, close, and reporting.
• Support SOX compliance activities and testing.
• Coordinate external audit requests related to consolidation.
• Monitor compliance with accounting policies.
