Job summary

National Security Agency is seeking a COMSEC Auditor policy expert with experience in the control and accountability of COMSEC material. The role involves traveling globally to ensure sites adhere to national and NSA standards for safeguarding COMSEC material and coordinating with IC/DoW and other agencies.

Qualified candidates will have degrees in policy-related fields and relevant government policy work experience.

Qualifications

Degree in Writing or Policy related field preferred; any field acceptable.
Relevant policy work experience within government or as a government contractor.

Responsibilities

Researching and developing policies that guide behavior and support mission objectives.
Interpreting, reviewing, and coordinating national policies affecting COMSEC with IC/DoW.
Recommending official NSA positions on COMSEC policies to senior leadership.
Advocating NSA/CSS policy positions with IC, DoW and other agencies.
Maintaining understanding of national and NSA/CSS COR policies.
Coordinating logistics and administrative items.
Providing policy expertise to 1700+ COMSEC accounts.
Performing COMSEC audits of accounts domestically and overseas.
Traveling in the U.S. and overseas ~8 weeks/year.
Communicating with COMSEC Account personnel before, during, and after audits.
Authoring formal COMSEC Audit reports.
