Job summary

zerohash seeks a Global Chief Compliance Officer who will shape and lead the global compliance program, including AML, sanctions, and licensing across multiple geographies. This senior role supervises a global team and reports to the Co-President.

The CCO will maintain strong regulator relationships, manage regulatory filings, and guide compliant onboarding and ongoing processes while supporting international expansion.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of compliance experience, including AML, sanctions and financial crimes.
• Experience scaling international fintech/regulatory programs.
• Ability to build and oversee complex programs in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with regional regulators and exams.
• Legal degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full Global Compliance function and team.
• Oversee licensing processes globally.
• Stay current on global regulations and provide regional support.
• Design onboarding and ongoing AML/sanctions programs.
• Maintain relationships with regulators.
• Manage regulatory filings and responses.
• Coordinate regulatory interactions across regions.
